Amy HATES this with a passion (it's the pink), so if you help me get rid of it quickly, I'd be obliging. On the other hand, *I'm* in love with it (I don't think it's the pink, though that may be part of it). The shapes, the colors, the movement, and the idea--the rain coming from the umbrella. I wish I'd gotten the skin tone a little bit lighter, but it still works well. This came from a very small sketch (an inch by an inch and a bit), so was hard to center onto the painting with my projector. Which gave me the idea for the doorframe thing. Painting frames into the picture is something I've been playing with a bit in my head. I have a few sketches that really elaborate on the point. Perhaps they'll be painted, some day. :) Left-over paint decided the two outer frames (that then were scribbled together for a more free-form mood), but the rest was entirely deliberate. And it worked! )
